Located beside the Monywa-Yagyi-Kalewa Road in Kani Township of Sagaing Region, the Twinma Lake is packed with local visitors this peak season, according to residents. Earlier, the Twinma Lake was famous for its production of natural Spirulina, a blue-green algae. The production of Spirulina has stopped since 2017.
