The Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Commerce U Min Min left Yangon yester­day for India by air to attend the Technology and Economic Coop­eration Programme (BIMSTEC) business summit, which will be held in New Delhi from 6 to 8 August.

 

The business summit aims to create a transparent and smooth flow of business oper­ations and to discuss strategic cooperation for better trade and economic prospects. Interna­tional high-level officials, private businesspeople, advisory groups and experts from research asso­ciations, and production compa­nies will discuss trading, logistics companies, energy services, and the implementation of the BIM­STEC Free Trade Agreement. — MNA/TS
