Agricultural loans for 2024-2025 Fiscal year have been disbursed to farmers in village tracts in Pwintbyu Township of Magway Region since May 20. As of now, over K 2473.4 million of monsoon agricultural loans have been disbursed to farmers in the Township, according to the branch office of the Township Myanma Agricultural Development Bank.

On the occasion, U Aye Min Naing, Manager of the Township Myanma Agricultural Development Bank urged farmers to pay back the loans during the set date, and explained rules and regulations to be followed by famers. 3475 farmers from village-tracts in Pwintbyu Township were dispensed a total of K 2473.4 million of agricultural loans for 15818 acres of paddy fields and 1007 acres of other crops starting from May 20 to July 23.

The farmers who have already repaid the loans last year in 51 village-tracts in Pwintbyu Township are being disbursed agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crops.
