Agricultural loans for 2024-2025 Fiscal year have been disbursed to farmers in 51 village tracts in Pwintbyu Township of Magway Region since May. As of now, over K 398.65 million of monsoon agricultural loans have been disbursed to farmers in the Township, according to U Aye Min Naing, Manager of Myanma Agricultural Development Bank.
On the occasion, Manager of Myanma Agricultural Development Bank called on the farmers to pay back the loans during the set date, and explained rules and regulations to be followed by the famers. The farmers in 51 village-tracts in Pwintbyu Township are being disbursed agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crops.
As of now, total of K 398.65 million of agricultural loans has been disbursed to 691 farmers who have already repaid the loans in eight village tracts in the Township, and other remaining farmers will also be disbursed the loans, according to a Township Bank Manager.—Hlaing Win Lay(Pwintbyu Mye)
