The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported that discussions on investment opportunities and potential cooperation in au­tomotive technology between Myanmar and India took place at the 13th Mach Auto Expo 2024 in Ludhiana City, Punjab Prov­ince, India.

 

The Myanmar ambassa­dor to India participated in the event and presented informa­tion on the trade and invest­ment status between Myanmar and India, focusing on small and medium enterprises, as well as the machinery and equipment market.

 

The expo took place from 23 to 26 February. Ambassador U Moe Kyaw Aung attended the opening ceremony on 23 February as a special guest, alongside the Chief Executive Officer of Invest Punjab. Am­bassadors and diplomats from Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Burundi, Mongolia, and Ethio­pia, along with Indian officials and entrepreneurs, were also in attendance.

 

The Mach Auto Expo 2024 featured 650 booths from 12 countries, showcasing over ten thousand products and servic­es. — ASH/ TMT
