PRESIDENT of the Myanmar Parasports Federation Maj-Gen Hla Moe yesterday morning visited the classification sessions of Myanmar athletes preparing for the XIII ASEAN Para Games. Accompanied by vice-presidents and officials, he observed the assessment of disability levels for the national team.
The delegation first visited the classification room at the football field of Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University in Thailand, where seven members of the Myanmar men’s sitting volleyball team were evaluated. The president met with the athletes, offered encouragement, and discussed any required support with officials and coaches.
The delegation also observed classification assessments for athletes in boccia, goalball, athletics, sitting volleyball, shooting, table tennis and powerlifting, as well as training sessions for the boccia and goalball teams. — MNA/KZL
