Myanmar’s representative partici­pated in the interface meeting between the Committee of Permanent Repre­sentatives to ASEAN (CPR) and the United Nations, held at the ASEAN Secretary-General’s Office on 15 March, as confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

U Aung Myo Myint, the Perma­nent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN, represented the country at the interface.

 

The annual event, led by Bovonethat Douangchak, the Perma­nent Representative of Laos to ASEAN, provided a platform for CPR members and UN delegates to review the ASE­AN-UN Plan of Action.

 

During the meeting, ASEAN per­manent representatives shared their insights on regional and international developments, while also discussing strategies for aligning the implementa­tion of the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustain­able Development.
