A combined team comprising members of Anti-Drug Squad searched a motorcycle driven by Ar Hu near Lwetawkham Village in Tachilek Township of Shan State at 5:00 pm on August 24 and seized 4,400 stimulant tablets and 0.025 kg of heroin.

Similarly, a combine team searched a TOYOTA CROWN vehicle driven by Sai Way Lin Aung with Sai Lwin Phyo on board near Paunglai Village in Loilem Township of Shan State at 3:10 pm on the same day and confiscated 2.3 kg of Happy Water, 0.8 kg of Ketamine and 0.005 kg of raw opium.

The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MPF
