Entertainment and per­formances by dancers and sing­ers from South Korea, the Peo­ple’s Republic of China, and the Russian Federation are sched­uled for the upcoming Thingyan Water Festival of 1385 ME, as announced by the Nay Pyi Taw City Development Committee.

 

In the entertainment pro­grammes of the 1385 ME Myan­mar traditional Maha Thingyan Festival in Nay Pyi Taw, K-Pop singers from South Korea and artistes from Tavrida-Art in the Russian Federation will partici­pate. Additionally, there will be water-splashing pandals from the PRC and the Russian Fed­eration featuring entertainment programmes.

 

The Nay Pyi Taw Thingyan Festival is organized by the gov­ernment to celebrate the new year, aiming to provide happi­ness for the public, including ministerial staff.

 

Local artistes have already been invited to participate in festivities at the Nay Pyi Taw Mayor’s pavilion and the walk­ing Thingyan pavilion, accord­ing to the report. — ASH/TMT
