It is known that the paintings created by four first-year and second-year students of Master of Arts and 14 final-year stu­dents of the Painting Depart­ment of the National Universi­ty of Arts and Culture (NUAC, Yangon) are put on display dai­ly starting from 9 am to 4 pm during the period from 18 to 25 May, at the National Library of Myanmar (Yangon) situated on the Merchant Street in Pabedan township.

 

This exhibition aims to in­crease the creativity, to get the experience of interacting with the audiences, to understand the activities related to display, to improve leadership skills and to learn about the cooperation of the students. It is also aimed to get the credit points for the students’ art creations and ex­hibition arrangement.

 

The interested audiences can enjoy a total number of 55 various kinds of paintings freely at the exhibition. It is also known that the paintings are worth be­tween K150,000 and K1.5 million for the painting lovers.

 

The art exhibitions by the students of the Painting Depart­ment had been shown in outdoor art galleries in Yangon before the Covid-19 period, and this exhibition is shown for the first time after the pandemic period. — Myo Min Thura/ TRKM
