Vice-Senior General Soe Win urged all trainees to organize the people not to follow the propaganda of armed terrorist groups and lose their lives in the jungles.

 

Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win met trainees from the infantry platoon training course and cadets from Bahtoo Station at Aung San Hall of Tatmadaw (Army) Combat Forces Training School yesterday morning.

 

In the meeting with train­ees, the Vice-Senior General explained reviewing military tactics of enemies to launch counter operations, enhance­ment of individual capacity to develop group-wise capacity, and harmonious deployment of combat power and combat capability.

The Vice-Senior Gener­al also underlined the need for those trainees to dutifully serve assigned duties as they joined the Tatmadaw of their own accord.

 

He spotlighted the enforce­ment of the People’s Military Service Law on 10 February and the Reserve Forces Law on 13 February 2024.

 

He stressed the need to raise legal awareness of those in line with the criteria of the laws described above and their families.

 

Moreover, the Vice-Senior General called for joining hands with authorities to take action against some unscrupulous ser­vice personnel and organiza­tions wishing to gain monetary and other opportunities in pos­ing intimidation and coercion to innocent people who do not comprehensively understand the People’s Military Service Law and the Rules.

 

The Chief of Defence Indus­tries, the Chief of Air Defence and the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Military Engi­neers gave lectures on neces­sary lessons to trainee officers, cadets and instructors who par­ticipated in discussions.

 

The Vice-Senior General and party had lunch together with trainees at the trainee mess hall of the Tatmadaw (Army) Combat Forces Train­ing School (Bahtoo).

 

Also present at the ceremo­ny were senior military officers from the Office of the Command­er-in-Chief, the commander of Eastern Command and officials. — MNA/TTA
