Mandalay Region’s Anti-Drug Squad-18 and Kyaukse District Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Body jointly conducted informative talks on scourge of drugs at the meeting hall of B.E.H.S.-3 in the town of Kyaukse, Kyaukse District of Mandalay Region this morning.

At the event, Police Lt-Col Myo Thant from the Anti-Drug Squad-18 of Mandalay Region elaborated matters in connection with the talks which aim to promote peace and stability and detailed the disadvantages of narcotic drugs, offences and penalties for drug cases, and shared knowledges about preventive measures against the drugs to the attendees.

Afterwards, Police Lt-Col Myo Thant from Anti-Drug Squad-18 of Mandalay Region answered queries raised by those present on the occasion. This was followed by the presentation of souvenir to Police Lt-Col Myo Thant.—District IPRD
