A ceremony to wrap up a refresher training course for auxiliary firefighters was held at the meeting room of the office of the township Fire Services Department in Myanaung Township of Ayeyawady Region this morning.

At the event, chairman of the District Administration Body U Myo Hlaing clarified the purposes of the training course and explained the four duties and functions of firefighters.

This was followed by the presentation of certificates to the trainees by chairman of the District Administration Body U Myo Hlaing and member-1 of the District Administration Body Lieutenant Colonel Aung Soe.

A total of 100 people including Chairman of the District Administration Body U Myo Hlaing, member-1 of the District Administration Body Lieutenant Colonel Aung Soe, Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Nay Min Tun and member-1 Major Min Min Soe, Commander of the Township Fire Services Department U Ko Ko Naing, departmental officials and auxiliary firemen from wards and villages in the Township attended the event.—Win Bo (Myanaung IPRD)
