THE friendship delegation of Myanmar Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) led by Colonel Zar Ni Aung departed for India from Nay Pyi Taw Airport yesterday afternoon to further enhance friendship and cooperation between Myanmar Tatmadaw and the Indian Armed Forces and to conduct reciprocal study tours on cultural heritage.
They were seen off at the Nay Pyi Taw Airport by Colonel Nay Aung Soe, Deputy Commander of the Nay Pyi Taw Command, senior military officers, and Indian Military Attaché to Myanmar Jaswinder S Gill.
The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation, comprising a total of 120 personnel from the Myanmar Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), will visit landmarks, training schools, pagodas, and monasteries in Gaya, India, until 19 September. — MNA/MKKS
