THE friendship delegation of Myanmar Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) led by Colonel Zar Ni Aung departed for India from Nay Pyi Taw Airport yesterday afternoon to further enhance friendship and cooperation be­tween Myanmar Tatmadaw and the Indian Armed Forces and to conduct reciprocal study tours on cultural heritage.

 

They were seen off at the Nay Pyi Taw Airport by Colonel Nay Aung Soe, Deputy Com­mander of the Nay Pyi Taw Com­mand, senior military officers, and Indian Military Attaché to Myanmar Jaswinder S Gill.

 

The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation, comprising a total of 120 personnel from the My­anmar Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), will visit landmarks, training schools, pagodas, and monasteries in Gaya, India, until 19 September. — MNA/MKKS
