Prior to two warm-up matches against Oman and Qatar, Myanmar U-22 men’s football squad have been camped in Yangon since 29 December, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.
The Myanmar traditional game dubbed as “Htote Si Htoe” (border-crossing game) was held at a volleyball court in Palaw Township, Taninthayi Region on Tuesday.
A ceremony to open the sports grounds will be held in Phyu Township, Bago Region on 3 January morning to mark the 71st anniversary of Independence Day in conjunction with games, sports events and a photo exhibition.
