The Myanmar Photography Association (MPA) has announced an exhibition showcasing the award-winning photographs from the 57th Annual Myanmar Photo Contest. The exhibition will be held at Times City in Kamayut Township, Yangon Region, from 21 to 25 March 2024.
The 57th Annual Myanmar Photo Contest is an annual event held by the MPA. Entries for the 2024 competition opened in November 2023, and the final selection of award-winning photographs was completed earlier this month. Over 700 photographs were submitted across six different categories.
The award ceremony will be held on the first day of the exhibition, 21 March 2024. A total of 37 prizes will be awarded, including the prestigious title of "Best Photographer of the Year 2023" and consolation prizes. — ASH/TRKM
