A ceremony to open a new school building took place in conjunction with prize awarding event at the B.E.P.S. in Daw Nyein Gone Village in Zalun Township of Ayeyawady Region this morning.

First, member-1 of the Township Administration Council Major Win Lwin Oo, the Townhip Education officer U Phone Zaw and member of School Development Committee U San Thein cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the school. The one-story school building measuring 100 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width was constructed by a tender winning company with K 82.5 million allocated by the regional government for 2019-2020 FY.

Afterwards, prize awarding event was held. First, students performed a school song. This was followed by the presentation of certifcates of honor to students who passed with high marks in 2023-2024 Academic year and persons who actively participated in the construction of the school by officials.—Wei Yan(Zalun IPRD)
