In celebration of the 77th Anniversary of Union Day, the second day of the MSME product exhibition and traditional food display and sale took place at Tabaung Ground near Uppatasanti Pagoda, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday morning. Students, youths, ministerial staff, families, and citizens purchased products with interest.

On the second day of the exhibition, entrepreneurs involved in micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and those aspiring to start small businesses came to learn with keen interest. Exhibition officials shared information and technology to develop MSMEs, gain access to domestic and foreign markets, and enhance competitive ability based on their respective businesses. They also discussed challenges and solutions relevant to their enterprises.

Ethnic groups warmly welcomed and explained traditional cultural knowledge, local practices, landmarks, socio-economic activities, regional traditional foods, and MSME products to visitors. The event was bustling with visitors enthusiastically observing and taking souvenir photos with ethnic groups.

Additionally, MSME products and traditional food galleries from various regions and states, including the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, were meticulously displayed for visitors to learn about regional foods, local MSME businesses, and products exported through the One Region-One Product scheme.

In the galleries, traditional cultural dances and songs showcasing the beauty of regional traditions and patriotic songs were performed, fostering a sense of unity among visitors.

MSME products, traditional foods, ethnic souvenirs, and traditional costumes from regions and states, including the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, were sold at affordable prices, encouraging support for MSME development.

Furthermore, fresh regional and traditional foods were available for visitors to enjoy in a peaceful and affectionate atmosphere.

In the evening, entertainment programmes featuring modern and traditional songs and dances entertained the crowd as part of the celebration.

The exhibition showcased 34 product galleries from regions and states, including the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, and 19 traditional food galleries, scheduled to run from 10 to 14 February.— Aung Ye Thwin, Aye Aye Thant/ TRKM
