Chairman of the State Admin­istration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla hosted a dinner in honour of the 77th Anniversary of Union Day 2024 at the square of the city hall of Nay Pyi Taw yesterday evening.

 

The Senior General and wife were welcomed by SAC Vice-Chairman Dep­uty Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win and his wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Union Election Commission Chairman U Ko Ko and wife, Union ministers and their wives, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo and wife at the square of the city hall where the honorary dinner was to be hosted.

 

The Senior General and wife, and the Vice-Senior General and wife greeted ethnic traditional cultural troupes from regions and states, chairpersons and rep­resentatives of political parties, NCA sig­natory Ethnic Armed Organization leaders and representatives, economic ministers and ethnic affairs ministers of regions and states, MSME businesspersons, senior military officers from the Office of the Com­mander-in-Chief and their wives, Union ministers, Union-level dignitaries and their wives, SAC members and their spouses, and the Council Secretary and wife.

 

The Senior General and his wife viewed fireworks launched in honour of the 77th Anniversary of Union Day 2024. The Senior General and wife had dinner together with all attendees.

 

At the open-air theatre of the city hall, the Senior Gener­al and his wife enjoyed dances of artistes from the Fine Arts Department under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and traditional ethnic cultural troupes.

 

The Senior General and wife presented the flower bas­ket to the ethnic traditional cultural troupes after the en­tertainment.

 

The dinner was also attend­ed by the SAC Secretary and wife, the Joint Secretary and wife, council members and their wives, members of the SAC Central Advisory Board, retired senior military officers, union ministers, union-level dignitar­ies and their wives, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, advisers to the SAC Chairman, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, deputy ministers, economic and ethnic affairs ministers of regions and states, leaders and representa­tives from NCA signatory EAOs, chairmen and representatives of political parties, MSME businesspersons and guests. — MNA/TTA
