A ceremony to provide cash assistance to offspring of staff from the office of the District Police Chief was held at the meeting hall of the office of the District Police Chief in the town of Thayet, Magway District of Magway Region this morning.

During the ceremony, the District Police Chief Police Lt-Col Win Naing and his wife Daw Tin Tin Moe handed over cash assistance and stationery to the students who are attending schools in 2024-2025 Academic year.

Under this cash aid program, 20 students including two students who are studying at the universities, seven students who are studying at high schools, four students who are studying at middle schools and seven students who are studying at primary schools received cash assistance and stationery respectively.—Zaw Htet (Thayet)
