Upgrade of Nanyun Creek wooden Bailey bridge to a reinforced concrete bridge connecting between Wamhat-Linkhe Road in Maukme Township, Linkhe District of Southern Shan State has been started since June 19 this year.

A wooden bridge measuring 140 ft. in length and 28 ft. in width is being upgraded to a reinforced concrete bridge by bridge special task force-12, Department of Bridges under Ministry of Construction with the Union Budget from the 2024-2025 FY, according to an official from bridge special task force-12.—Sai Myo Thant(IPRD)
