A ceremony to open the new office of Danu Self-Administered Zone’s Police Chief was held in the compound of the office in Awyaw Ward in Pindaya Township of the Danu Self-Administered Zone in Southern Shan State at 10:00 am on 20 June.

At the event, Chairman of the Danu Self-Administered Zone Administration Body U Ar Ka Lin delivered an opening speech. After that Chairman of the Danu Self-Administered Zone Administration Body U Ar Ka Lin and members cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the new office and sprinkled scented water on the sign board of the new office.

The construction work of the facility has been implemented since August 23, 2023 by a tender winning company with K.315.74 million of the Union Budget from 2023-2024 FY and it has been completed 100% on 15 March, 2024.—Ye Htet Oo (IPRD)
