JAPANESE-LANGUAGE Proficiency Test (JLPT) is scheduled to take place on 1 December 2024 in Yangon and Mandalay, and the JLPT organizing committee of the Myanmar Association of Ja­pan Alumni (MAJA) has an­nounced a schedule for ac­cepting application forms.

 

The exam fee and applica­tion fee are K50,000 each for Level N1, Level N2 and Level N3 and K45,000 each for Level N4 and Level N5.

 

The duration for online applications is 14,15, and 26 August for Level N1 and Level N2; 16,19 and 27 August for Level N3; 20, 21 and 28 August for Level N4; and 22 and 23 August for Level N5.

 

In order to control bulk entering into the system, the time for accepting online ap­plications won’t make it public in advance, and submission can be made at noon with the duration of the period that on­line applications are accepted.

 

Training schools will need to register from 2 August through 5 August via Google Form, and a maximum of 100 applications will be sold per school in Yangon, and a maxi­mum of 50 applications will be sold per school in Mandalay.

 

Training schools will need to show the licence page, including the owner’s name and expiration date, in Google Form submission and in-person buying, and those who have company licences will also need to follow this rule. Incomplete or expired permits won’t be considered.

 

Application forms will be sold on 12, 13 and 14 August for the Yangon exam centre and on 12 and 13 August for the Mandalay exam centre. Applications will be accepted at the Yangon exam station on 14 August through 20 August and 14-15 August at the Man­dalay exam centre. — MT/ZS
