Myanmar and China collabo­rate on border peace and sta­bility, eradica­tion of online gambling, money scams, and illicit activ­ities.

 

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing explained that the State Administration Coun­cil is implementing objectives and a five-point roadmap to ensure peace and stability of the State and development undertakings.

 

Chairman of the State Ad­ministration Council Prime Min­ister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Mr Deng Xijun, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, at the Office of the SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

 

At the meeting, both sides cordially talked about friendly ties and diplomatic relations between Myanmar and China, internal peace processes in Myanmar, peace and stability measures in the border region, bilateral re­lations to eradicate online gam­bling and online scams and other money scams, as well as illegal businesses.

 

The Senior General ex­plained the implementation of ob­jectives and a five-point roadmap in order to ensure peace, stability and development of the country.

 

They also frankly discussed preparations for holding a free and fair multiparty democratic general election.

 

Also present at the meeting were Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Af­fairs U Than Swe and officials. The Chinese Special Envoy was accompanied by his delegation members. — MNA/TTA
