A delegation led by Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe, who attended the 13th ASEAN Education Ministers’ Meeting, the 7th ASEAN Plus Three Education Ministers’ Meeting, and the 7th East Asia Education Ministers’ Meeting, returned to Yangon from Thailand yesterday.
The delegation was welcomed at Yangon International Airport by rectors of Yangon University, Yangon East University, and Yangon West University, as well as education officials from the Yangon Region Basic Education Department.
The 13th ASEAN Education Ministers’ Meeting and related conferences, held under the theme “Transforming Education in the Digital Age”, took place in Buriram, Thailand, from 25 to 26 August. — MNA/ KZL
