The Anti-Corruption Commission and the Ministry of Planning and Finance jointly organized an awareness seminar on anti-corruption at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, first in his remark, highlighted the purpose of the seminar, mentioning that corruption-free civil servants must establish clean government and good governance and they should regard the anti-corruption measure as a national task.

He continued that the ministry offers services directly to the public, so it needs to focus on the ability to perfect services and be free of corruption. He then urged the staff to serve their duties honestly with accountability and transparency without fear or favour.

Attendees also discussed anti-corruption measures and their experiences with CPU (Corruption Prevention Unit) members. — MNA/KTZH
