Yenangyaung, 3 August
Yenangyaung Township has targeted to grow more than 8,000 acres of mug bean and black-eyed bean in Yenangyaung Township of Magway Region in 2024-2025 FY, according to the Township Agriculture Department.
Mug bean and black-eyed bean are mainly being grown in rainy season in the Township. They are purchased domestically as well as exported to neighboring countries, so annual sales are brisk and there is a regular market for farmers, according to the Township Agriculture Department.
