A combined team comprising members of Anti-Drug Police Force searched a motorbike driven by Kya Hmu with Kya Pheih on board in Ward-3 in the town of Kengtung, Shan State at 8:20 am on September 4 and captured 10000 stimulant tablets.

Similarly, a combined team stopped and searched a motorcycle driven by Kyaw Lin Soe in Pontun Ward in the town of Tachilek, Shan State at 3:00 pm on September 3 and seized 2000 stimulant tablets and 0.02 kg of heroin.

According to an investigation, a combined team apprehended Ma Thida Linn along with 10000 stimulant tablets in Pontun Ward in the town of Tachilek.

The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
