Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of concrete paving work of road in Sataung(W) Village in Chauk Township of Magway Region on 18 September.

During the inspection tour, staff officer of the District DRD Daw May Thet Naing and staff met with village elders and members of village development committee, and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

The construction work of concrete road which is 500 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in volume has been initiated by the Township DRD since August 8 this year with K. 15.00 million for 2024-2025 fiscal year. Now, all the projects have been completed 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Khin Yu Yu Tun(DRD)
