CHAIRMAN of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior Gener­al Min Aung Hlaing attended the choice of arms for cadets of the 67th Intake of Defence Services Academy and those from the 27th Intake of Defence Services Technological Academy sepa­rately on 23 and 24 September.

 

Also present on the occa­sions were Chief of the Gener­al Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice-Admiral Htein Win, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Of­fice of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Central Com­mand, the commandants of DSA and DSTA. They chose relevant corps of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) depending on the out­standing endeavours, hobbies and industriousness of each cadet in literature and military arts.

 

In the afternoon, the Senior General and party had lunch to­gether with cadets at the cadet mess hall of DSA and Pyinnya Tazaung mess hall of DSTA, and they fulfilled their needs.

 

At the local Tatmadaw hospital, the Senior General cordially comforted Tatmadaw members receiving medical treatments for their injuries suffered while serving duties of stability, security, and rule of law for the State, fulfilling their needs, and presenting foodstuffs.

 

After asking officials about the hospital’s requirements, the senior general attended to their needs.

 

The Senior General inspect­ed regiments, units and training depots in PyinOoLwin Station by car.

 

Yesterday morning, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, served lunch to resi­dents receiving medical treat­ments at the General Hospital in PyinOoLwin and presented cash donations for the hospital to the medical superintendent. She also comforted patients at the maternity and child wards.

 

At the local Tatmadaw hos­pital, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla cordial­ly consoled the patients in the maternity and child wards and presented foodstuffs. She also donated lunch meals for Tat­madaw members and families receiving medical treatments at the hospital and cash dona­tions for the hospital through the commandant. — MNA/TTA
