Agricultural loans for 2024-2025 Fiscal year have been disbursed to farmers in 51 village tracts in Pwintbyu Township of Magway Region since the third week of May this year, and as of September 30, over K 4000.0 million of monsoon agricultural loans has been disbursed to farmers in the Township, according to U Aye Min Naing, Manager of the Township Myanma Agricultural Development Bank.
At the event, manager of the Township Myanma Agricultural Development Bank called on the farmers to pay back the loans during the set date, and explained rules and regulations the loans to be followed by famers. The farmers in village tracts in Pwintbyu Township are being disbursed agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crops.
As of now, a total of K 4204.3 million of agricultural loans has been disbursed to 6107 farmers from 47 village tracts in the Township for 28740 acres of paddy and other crops, and the remaining farmers will also be dispensed the loans, according to U Aye Min Naing.—Hlaing Win Lay(Pwintbyu Mye)
