CONTESTANTS of the Silver Jubilee Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition, organizers, and officials from various states and regions visited the Maravijaya Buddha Image, the world’s most giant sitting Buddha statue, located in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory. They offered donations and visited religious edifices and stone inscriptions.
They also visited the Uppatasanti Pagoda to pay homage and made further donations. They also explored the white elephant protection park and offered feed to white elephants.
Furthermore, they visited the Junction Centre (Nay Pyi Taw) and the Ottarathiri Ocean Super Centre to purchase commemorative gifts and souvenirs. — MNA/TMT
