Myingyan, 25 October
Due to heavy rain that started early this morning in Myingyan, Mandalay Region, the homes along the bank of the Pyaungpya Creek and Swanlwan Creek in the town of Myingyan were evacuated to safer places.
As floodwater from Pyaungpya and Swanlwan creeks entering into some houses in the town of Myingyan, people, animals and utensils from flood-hit households were relocated to safer places by volunteers from the District Fire Services Department, Red-Cross Society and Social Organizations.
According to the 9:00 hrs M.S.T on 25 October observation, the rainfall is 3.31 inches in Myingyan, according to Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.—Kyaw Swa(Myingyan)
