DAW Than Than Swe, Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar, received Mr Paul C G Gwee, General Secretary of the ASEAN Banking Association, along with Daw Khin Saw Oo, Chairperson of the Myanmar Banks Association, and delegation members at the Central Bank’s conference hall yesterday morning.
During the meeting, they discussed preparations of Myanmar to host the 53rd ASEAN Banking Council Meeting and the 24th ASEAN Banking Conference in 2025 under the leadership of the Myanmar Banks Association. The discussions also included an open exchange on the current economic and banking situations among ASEAN countries. The deputy governor and other officials from the Central Bank of Myanmar were also present on the occasion. — MNA/KZL
