DEPUTY Minister for Construction U Win Pe inspected key preparation sites for the Fifth National Sports Festival 2024 opening and closing ceremonies yesterday afternoon.
His visit included reviewing the readiness of venues such as Wunna Theikdi Sports Complex, where he assessed the installation of banners, seating arrangements for national leaders, and stage backdrop preparations. He also inspected ongoing renovations at the swimming pool and Sports Hall C, where flags and backdrop signs were being installed.
Additionally, the deputy minister checked accommodations for referees and jury members in Cluster 5 of the Gold Camp training facility, focusing on their renovation progress. He directed officials to ensure all preparations were thoroughly completed to host a grand and successful event.
