The Township Myanma Agricultural Development Bank is disbursing winter agricultural loans to farmers starting from November 13 this year in Thongwa Township, Thanlyin Disdtrict of Yangon Region in line with rules and regulations of the Bank. On 20 November, the bank has dispensed winter agriculture loans to farmers from Kadonpawale Village in the Thongwa Township.

On the occasion, U Win Hlaing, manager of the Township Myanma Agricultural Development Bank clarified the purpose of the loans and rules and regulations to be followed by farmers.

Afterwards, U Win Hlaing dispensed K 82.6 million to 105 farmers from Kadonpawale Village at a rate of K 100,000 per acre for 826 green gram cultivations. In addition, the Bank has also earmarked to disburse K 2500.0 million of winter agricultural loans to 3100 farmers from 64 village tracts in the Township for 25000 acres of farmland.—Kyaw San
