THE family drama series ‘A Dark Night, The Brightest Day’, which explores the bonds between parents and children, will be broadcast in HD quality via the Mahar application during August.

The series is adapted from the novel A Dark Night by writer Lon Ma. The screenplay was written by Nya Hmway Pan, Ngwe Sin Thoon, and Bonnie, and it was directed by Thein Han (Phoenix).

“When a child grows up without a mother, navigating life without guidance, the heart inevitably accumulates scars, both big and small. In this series, after the father passes away, Khwinn, the main character, comes to live with her mother, daughter of a wealthy family. Although his mother had abandoned him when he was still very young, she now shows great affection and care for other children, the affection she once denied her son. However, Khwinn bears no grudge against his mother. He continues to love her from afar and quietly fulfils her wishes. I want the audience to watch and see when the nights in this child’s life will finally give way to light,” said actor Min Taw Win, who plays a role in the series.

The series features performances by Aung Ye Chan, Nan Su Oo, Hla Myo Thinzar Nwe, Min Taw Win, A Ni Zaw, Shwe Yin Aye, and many others. — ASH/MKKS
