Heavy rainfall on the night of 26 August caused flooding on the Yangon-Mandalay Union Road at Pinlaung Junction in Zeyathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.

In response, Zeyathiri Township Management and Administration Committee Chairman U Ze Htet Aung, along with officials from township departments, Fire Services Department chiefs U Min Thu (Zeyathiri) and U Aung Thura Kyaw (Pyinmana), fire brigades, Tatmadaw personnel, and local social organizations, assisted in managing traffic. They helped people and vehicles safely pass through the flooded area.
