In a continued effort to enhance income generation and improve the socio-economic well-being of rural communities, the second round of loan disbursements under the Emerald Green Project was carried out today in Shyaphyu Village, Gyobingauk Township, Bago Region.
At the loan distribution event, Daw Thi Thi Aung, Staff Officer of the Township Department of Rural Development, explained the project's objectives and briefed members of the Village Emerald Green Project Committee on the relevant rules and regulations.
As part of this round, a total of 95 farmers received loans totaling Ks 32.4 million. Among them, 85 are engaged in agriculture, 9 in livestock breeding, and 1 in a microenterprise.— Than Lwin Oo (Magway)
