Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development conducted an inspection of a newly completed concrete road in Takyant Smart Village, Tachilek Township, Shan State (East), this morning.
During the visit, officials met with village elders and emphasized the importance of quality construction and ongoing maintenance to ensure the road’s long-term durability and usefulness.
The road, which measures 130 feet in length, 10 feet in width, and six inches in thickness, was constructed at a cost of Ks 6.12 million. The project was carried out under the technical guidance and close supervision of the Township Department of Rural Development.
Construction began in the third week of August and has now been 100 percent completed. The new road is expected to significantly benefit local residents by improving transportation and accessibility.— Poe Thakhin
