THE Myanmar Red Cross So­ciety (MRCS) and Internation­al Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) jointly conducted the Integrated Earthquake Re­covery Assistance On-Job Training on 2-5 September in Mandalay.

Executive Committee Member Dr Tin Maung Hlaing and Dr Myo Khaing, vice chair of the Mandalay Region Red Cross Supervision Committee, gave the remarks respectively at the opening ceremony. A total of 46 volunteers from Nay Pyi Taw, Kachin State, Shan State (southern, northern), Mandalay Region, Bago Re­gion, Taninthayi Region, Mag­way Region and Ayeyawady Region attended the training. — ASH/KK
