THE Press, Documentation and Exhibition Work Committee held a coordination meeting yes­terday afternoon at the Ministry of Information meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw to organize the 10th Anniversary Ceremony of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agree­ment (NCA) and workshop.

 

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister for Infor­mation U Ye Tint, Chairman of the Press, Documentation and Exhibition Work Committee, as well as the Committee Secre­tary and members.

 

First, the deputy minister stated that the 10th Anniversary Ceremony of the NCA will be held in Nay Pyi Taw next month. During the opening ceremony and workshops, the work com­mittee will display documents related to peacemaking, de­velopment activities in ethnic areas, and ethnic unity for at­tendees to study in advance. Books will also be exhibited. He noted that press releases, me­dia invitations, and document publications are expected to be carried out, and instructed all parties to work together with­out gaps, discuss and provide recommendations, and coop­erate to ensure the success of the ceremony.

 

Next, the attendees dis­cussed plans for exhibits to be prepared by the relevant min­istries to commemorate the NCA anniversary, inviting local and foreign media to cover the event, inviting local and interna­tional experts to participate in the discussions, and publishing documentary books and reports.
