THE Press, Documentation and Exhibition Work Committee held a coordination meeting yesterday afternoon at the Ministry of Information meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw to organize the 10th Anniversary Ceremony of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) and workshop.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, Chairman of the Press, Documentation and Exhibition Work Committee, as well as the Committee Secretary and members.
First, the deputy minister stated that the 10th Anniversary Ceremony of the NCA will be held in Nay Pyi Taw next month. During the opening ceremony and workshops, the work committee will display documents related to peacemaking, development activities in ethnic areas, and ethnic unity for attendees to study in advance. Books will also be exhibited. He noted that press releases, media invitations, and document publications are expected to be carried out, and instructed all parties to work together without gaps, discuss and provide recommendations, and cooperate to ensure the success of the ceremony.
Next, the attendees discussed plans for exhibits to be prepared by the relevant ministries to commemorate the NCA anniversary, inviting local and foreign media to cover the event, inviting local and international experts to participate in the discussions, and publishing documentary books and reports.
