The Hmawbi Township Fire Services Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs conducted a practical search and rescue and firefighting training session this morning at the Learning Center of No. 1 Basic Education High School.

As part of the program, Township Fire Services Department Chief U Kyaw Khine Soe explained the objectives of the training, safety guidelines, fire extinguishing techniques, and rescue procedures during natural disasters.

The training is being led by five experienced instructors from the Hmawbi Township Fire Department. A total of 100 students from No. 1 Basic Education High School participated in the session.

The practical training aims to enhance the students’ knowledge and preparedness, enabling them to provide timely assistance and carry out effective rescue operations during emergencies or natural disasters in Hmawbi Township.— Township IPRD
