Free medical checkups and treatment were provided today for elderly citizens aged 85 and above, as well as retired government employees, at the People’s Hospital in Kamma Township, Magway Region. The program commenced at 10:00 a.m.

Dr. Wei Lin Bo and medical staff from Kamma People’s Hospital conducted health assessments including weight, blood pressure, body temperature, and diabetes screenings. All examinations and treatments were offered at no cost.

According to the Township Department of Public Health and Medical Services, the initiative takes place every Wednesday as part of ongoing efforts to support the well-being of senior citizens.— Kyaw Zeya Win (Kamma)
