THE Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, the Myanmar Olympic Committee, and the Myanmar Sports Media Federation held a discussion on the selection of outstanding athletes for 2025 at 10 am yesterday at the Myanmar Sports Media Federation office, located within the Department of Sports and Physical Education compound at Kyaikkasan Sports Ground, Tamway Township, Yangon.
At the meeting, Federation Chair U Nyan Htun (writer Lay Ko Ko) delivered opening remarks on the selection process for outstanding athletes. Vice- Chairs U Myint Swe (Myint Swe Myint) and U Wunna (Mar J), along with executive members, discussed the selection of the best male and female athletes for 2025.
They also reviewed plans for organizing article, poetry, short story, and photography competitions to be held in connection with the sixth edition of the 2025 sports competitions. — Bala/KZL
