A coordination meeting on successfully conducting 2019 interim-census was held at township administrator’s office in His Hseng township, Pa-O Self-administered Zone, Shan state (South) yesterday morning.

First, township administrator U Aung Naing, chairman of the township committee on conducting 2019 interim-census, said that the government has gave the green light to conduct 2019 interim-census in order to get accurate data on population and economics. Township committee, ward and village committees have been set up to handle the tasks of conducting the interim census in His Hseng township, he added. The census will be conducted in nine designated spots in a ward and seven village-tracts in the township, he said. Then, U Aung San Win, secretary of the township committee reported on work plans on conducting the census.

The township committee plans to conduct 2019 interim-census in His Hseng township from 15 to 25 January.—Khun Ye Htwe (Hsi Hseng)
