A ceremony to provide relief items to fire victims was held at the meeting hall of the township Administration Department in the town of Labutta, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

Official from the township Red Cross Society and GAD provided relief items including two blankets, building materials, family kit boxes each to fire victims from three households in the township.

The fire broke out in ward-7 in the town of Labutta on 7 March and in Kankwin Village in the township on 8 March and destroyed three houses.—Khin Lay War (Shwetarmye)
