THE managing director of the Myanma Port Au­thority (MPA) met the newly elected Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Interna­tional Freight Forward­ers’ Association (MIFFA) to discuss port digitaliza­tion and future areas of cooperation.

 

Members of the Cen­tral Executive Committee (CEC) of MIFFA for the 2025-2028 term met U Zaw Tun Lwin, Manag­ing Director of the My­anma Port Authority, at the MPA office on 19 June to coordinate and discuss future work plans.

 

During the meeting, officials from the Myanma Port Authority explained the fully digitalization system currently being implemented, port elec­tronic data interchange (EDI) processes, and smart port technologies.

 

The MPA managing director urged to work to­gether for the interests of country and people in transport and logistics sectors, and the MIFFA chairperson also pledged to fully cooperate in vari­ous sector in line with the department.

 

The managing direc­tor guided the attending MIFFA CEC members on a tour to the historic Myanma Port Authority Museum. —TWA/KTZH
