THE managing director of the Myanma Port Authority (MPA) met the newly elected Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar International Freight Forwarders’ Association (MIFFA) to discuss port digitalization and future areas of cooperation.
Members of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of MIFFA for the 2025-2028 term met U Zaw Tun Lwin, Managing Director of the Myanma Port Authority, at the MPA office on 19 June to coordinate and discuss future work plans.
During the meeting, officials from the Myanma Port Authority explained the fully digitalization system currently being implemented, port electronic data interchange (EDI) processes, and smart port technologies.
The MPA managing director urged to work together for the interests of country and people in transport and logistics sectors, and the MIFFA chairperson also pledged to fully cooperate in various sector in line with the department.
The managing director guided the attending MIFFA CEC members on a tour to the historic Myanma Port Authority Museum. —TWA/KTZH
